Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) is a state-owned oil and gas company based in Karachi. It is one of Pakistan’s largest exploration and production firms, supplying over a fifth of the country’s natural gas. PPL operates major fields like the Sui gas field and holds non-operating stakes in other fields. The company explores, develops, and produces oil, natural gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), motor fuels, and aviation fuels. PPL also has international operations in the UAE and Yemen. Founded in 1950, it is listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
